Quick quick slow…
March 21, 2010

It’s been a long while since my last post, so I thought it might be time to update.
There is not a lot to update about though – I’m still working on the script, although things are going a bit slowly right now. Translation speed goes up and down ^^; Having some problems with context since I can’t always remember what situation a certain line was used in, but hope to be able to catch these likely mistakes when I see the text in the game sometime. Until then I will keep chipping away at the script.
So yeah. Just wanted to let you know that the project and I are still alive

Cool, an update
By the way, do you know the status of the hacking ?

It’s going pretty well, though I haven’t done much lately. Won’t be able to do a variable width font like the Elie project has; too much I don’t understand for one method, and the other produces nasty graphic artifacts. But fixed-width font with one-byte-per-character encoding is working. Still going to be some assembly hacking to do to deal with cases where the available space isn’t long enough, but now that I know what I’m doing to some extent with that, I anticipate no problems. (Although it could be a pain if too much has to be expanded, but I’m pretty sure one of the methods I’ve got in mind should be sufficient.)

Good to see the project is alive. Just heard about it today, can’t wait to see it. I loved Atelier Annie for the DS, so I can’t wait to see this in English

It’s good to know that project still live. But may I ask, how much in percentage you translated?

Hard to say. Somewhere between 25 and 50% I think?

Glad to see this is still going. I’ve been silently following your project for a little while now, and I’m really glad to see it’s still going.
I’m rooting for you guys. Keep up the good work.

I started playing this in Japanese once. It was fun but I couldn’t understand enough of it to know what I was doing very well. Can’t wait to see the final product *cheers to yall for working on this*

Kobold has part of the truth. The first half of 2010 (and especially this season) has been very busy, so things have gone slow. As usual when this happens, I hope to be able to do something about that soon

I’m guessing exams are getting in the way.

Just posting again to tell you that I’m still rooting for you. Mostly because I’m self serving and don’t want to make the effort to learn Japanese for this game..
Despite the fact that I /do/ want to learn Japanese. Go figure..
